Company details
Where Vetericyn products are made
Innovacyn does not describe a contract filler. “Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is a United States FDA registered site and can produce more than four million bottles per month,” the Vetericyn About page reads, and the company publishes the Rialto, California address as its own. Under the heading “American made. American owned,” it states: “Innovacyn products are made in the USA using domestic and foreign components from carefully selected qualified suppliers.”
The Vetericyn Plus antimicrobial wound and skin care page and the antimicrobial eye wash page both run the same USA-Made module: “We proudly manufacture & bottle Vetericyn in the USA. Vetericyn Animal Wellness products are proudly made and manufactured in the USA using foreign and domestic components under strict quality guidelines.”
Innovacyn itself says “foreign and domestic components,” which is the standard qualified form. The USA-Made module is also absent from the FoamCare equine shampoo and the ALL-IN dog supplement pages, and from accessories. Those are treated here as unverified rather than claimed.
American Manufacturing is the correct label precisely because the company declines the unqualified one. Innovacyn owns and names an FDA-registered US plant and manufactures there — but writes “domestic and foreign components” itself, and does not extend the claim to every line. This page uses the company’s own wording rather than a stronger one.
The story
Innovacyn, Inc. makes hypochlorous-acid solutions — a chemistry that cleans wounds without stinging or damaging tissue — and sells them for animals as Vetericyn and for people as Puracyn. The animal brand launched in 2009, “created out of Bob Burlingame’s love of animals.”
The manufacturing is the company’s own. Its Rialto, California site is FDA-registered and, by its own account, capable of more than four million bottles a month. That is a scale that puts Vetericyn in farm and vet supply everywhere while the filling line stays in one Inland Empire building.
It is privately held and family-run — “privately owned by a US Veteran” in the company’s words — and the founder handed the business to his two sons in 2018.
Why they matter
Animal wound care is bought under pressure, often at midnight in a barn, and the buyer rarely reads a label carefully. That makes it a category where an honest, checkable manufacturer is worth more than a marketing claim.
Innovacyn is more disclosive than it needs to be. It publishes its plant, its registration status and its capacity — and then qualifies its own origin claim with “foreign and domestic components” rather than rounding up to Made in USA.
That restraint is exactly what makes the rest believable. A company that volunteers its own limit is a company whose stated strengths can be taken at face value.

Vetericyn questions
Is Vetericyn made in the USA?
In the company’s own qualified wording, yes: “Vetericyn Animal Wellness products are proudly made and manufactured in the USA using foreign and domestic components under strict quality guidelines.” Innovacyn manufactures and bottles at its own FDA-registered plant in Rialto, California.
Who makes Vetericyn?
Innovacyn, Inc. of Rialto, California — a privately held, family-owned company that also makes the human-use brand Puracyn. Vetericyn is its brand, not a licensed name.
Does the claim cover every Vetericyn product?
No. The USA-Made module appears on the Vetericyn Plus hypochlorous lines — wound and skin care, eye wash — but not on the FoamCare equine shampoo, the ALL-IN supplement, or accessories. Those carry no origin statement and are not claimed here.
Why is this labelled American Manufacturing rather than Made in USA?
Because the company qualifies its own claim. Innovacyn writes “domestic and foreign components,” and the origin module is absent from several lines. American Manufacturing is the label that matches what the company actually says.
