Stormy Kromer is a heritage apparel brand famous for its wool cap with a pull-down earband, first made in 1903 for railroad engineer George ‘Stormy’ Kromer. Since 2001 the caps have been sewn in Ironwood, Michigan.
At the Jacquart Fabric Products factory in Ironwood, the company now makes caps, vests, jackets, and a full line of outdoor apparel — nearly all of it American-made.
