Where StayWell Copper products are made
The phone patches page carries it three times over: “Made in the USA from 99.94% pure recycled American Copper,” “handcrafted in the USA,” and “Proudly Made in the USA from 99.94% endlessly recyclable EPA registered antimicrobial American Copper” — with EPA Reg. No. 85341-3-99000 printed alongside.
Most brands in this category say “made in USA” and stop. StayWell publishes a supplier page identifying Revere Copper Products of Rome, New York as the mill that makes its antimicrobial copper to specification, and its FAQ states the result plainly: “This makes StayWell’s products 100% made and manufactured in the USA.”
StayWell does not smelt or roll copper; Revere does. StayWell fabricates and finishes, in what it describes as “state-of-the-art EPA approved USA facilities.” The adhesive on the patches is a bought-in 3M component. Naming the mill is precisely what makes the rest of the claim checkable.
Made in USA is the right label because both halves of the chain are American and both are named — a US mill making the stock, and US fabrication turning it into a finished product. That is more disclosure than this category usually offers, and it is what allows this page to carry the unqualified label rather than a hedged one.
The story
StayWell® Copper has been in business since 2017 and is based out of Scottsdale, Arizona, in the company’s own words. It was founded by Marcia Reece — also credited with inventing sidewalk chalk — and it remains independent and woman-owned.
The products are simple objects made of one material: solid recycled copper. Patches that adhere to a phone or tablet, a hand roller the company calls the Magic Wand, halo necklaces and dog-tag charms. The copper carries an EPA registration as an antimicrobial surface, and the registration number appears on the product pages.
The supplier relationship is the unusual part. StayWell’s copper is made to its own specification by Revere Copper Products of Rome, New York — a mill whose lineage runs back to Paul Revere — and StayWell devotes a page of its own site to saying so.
Why they matter
Copper wellness products are a category full of imports wearing American-sounding names, and “copper” on a marketplace listing frequently means copper-coloured. A specific purity figure and an EPA registration number are harder to fake than a flag icon.
Naming the mill is the strongest available form of the claim. A buyer can check Revere Copper Products independently; nobody can check an unnamed “domestic supplier.” StayWell chose the version that can be verified.
It is also a reminder that small manufacturers can still buy American metal. The mill is in New York, the fabrication is domestic, and the finished object is a few ounces of copper — exactly the kind of product that would be trivially easy to import, and is not.

StayWell Copper questions
Is StayWell Copper made in the USA?
Yes. The product pages read “Made in the USA from 99.94% pure recycled American Copper” and “handcrafted in the USA,” and the FAQ states: “Our copper is mined from Paul Revere’s copper mine, and manufactured to our specifications by a local supplier. This makes StayWell’s products 100% made and manufactured in the USA.”
Where does the copper itself come from?
Revere Copper Products of Rome, New York. StayWell publishes a supplier page stating that “Revere Copper Products manufactures Antimicrobial Copper for StayWell® Copper” to its specification.
Where is StayWell Copper based?
Scottsdale, Arizona. The company’s About page states that it “has been in business since 2017 and is based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.”
Is anything on the product not American-made?
The adhesive used on the phone patches is a bought-in 3M component. The copper itself, and the fabrication and finishing, are what the company claims as US-made, and this profile scopes the claim the same way.
