Company details
Where NaturVet products are made
The company’s homepage headline is “We care so much, we make it ourselves,” followed by “All products are made in our FDA and NASC audited manufacturing facility, which means that our end products are routinely tested by an independent laboratory.”
The About page states that “All of our supplements are meticulously studied, formulated and crafted with care in Temecula, California” — a first-party statement of where production happens.
Under the heading Thoughtfully Sourced Ingredients the company writes, “We search the globe for the best ingredients to give your pets the support they need.” Domestic manufacture, international inputs.
The Federal Trade Commission reserves an unqualified Made in USA claim for goods that are all or virtually all of domestic origin. NaturVet manufactures domestically but sources ingredients globally and says so, so an unqualified claim would not be right. That is why this profile is labelled American Manufacturing rather than Made in USA.
The story
NaturVet trades as a brand but the legal entity behind it is Garmon Corporation, a Temecula, California business that has been making animal health products since 1994 — a date its parent company Swedencare stated in the release announcing its acquisition.
The company’s distinguishing decision was to keep manufacturing in-house rather than hand it to a contract packer, which is the default in pet supplements. It runs its own FDA-registered, NASC-audited plant, identifies every incoming ingredient with infrared spectroscopy, and sends finished product to an independent laboratory. It was also a founding member of the National Animal Supplement Council.
NaturVet is now a subsidiary of Swedencare AB, listed in Stockholm — a fact the company publishes on its own About page rather than leaving to be discovered. Ownership sits abroad; the factory does not.
Why they matter
Pet supplements are a category with very little manufacturing transparency. Most brands are marketing companies that buy finished goods. A brand that owns the plant, names the city and submits to third-party audit is doing something structurally different, and it is the kind of operation that keeps skilled production work in the country.
The ingredient disclosure is the part worth defending rather than apologising for. Krill, certain botanicals and specific probiotic strains are not produced at scale in the United States. Saying so is more useful than a blanket claim that would not survive scrutiny.
Foreign ownership is worth recording and not worth panicking about. The jobs, the equipment and the quality system are in Temecula regardless of where the shares trade.

NaturVet questions
Are NaturVet supplements made in the USA?
They are manufactured in the USA. NaturVet states “All products are made in our FDA and NASC audited manufacturing facility” and that its supplements are “crafted with care in Temecula, California.” The raw ingredients are sourced internationally.
Does NaturVet use its own factory?
Yes. Unusually for the category, NaturVet manufactures in-house rather than using a contract packer — “we care so much, we make it ourselves” is the company’s own line — and the plant is FDA registered and NASC audited.
Who owns NaturVet?
NaturVet is Garmon Corporation, a subsidiary of Swedencare AB, a company listed on the NASDAQ First North Growth Market in Stockholm. NaturVet publishes this on its own About page. Manufacturing remains in Temecula, California.
When was NaturVet founded?
1994. NaturVet’s own site says only “over 30 years ago”; the specific year comes from parent company Swedencare’s announcement of its acquisition, which states the business was founded in 1994.
