LA Minerals was founded in 2007 by Lorraine Aldean Pierce, due to her search for a mineral foundation that did not itch in the summer heat of the south.
Having tried numerous brands, Lorraine decided to look into the ingredients that could be causing the itching. What she found was that a common ingredients, bismuth oxychloride, was causing the itching and burning. It also can cause acne, even cystic acne! So she decided to create a line of natural mineral makeup that did not contain bismuth oxychloride or any other ingredients that are known irritants.
LA Minerals was a successful business from THE FIRST YEAR! Evidently there are women around the world that have been searching for the same thing. A makeup that covers good and doesn’t itch or break you out!
