Why I Started This Campaign
I started the Buy American Campaign because not enough Americans are buying products made in the USA. Most people want to support American workers — they just don’t know which companies actually manufacture here or where to start.
This campaign exists to raise awareness, help consumers make informed choices, and support businesses that keep jobs in the United States.

How to Tell if a Product Is Made in America
Not all “Made in USA” claims mean the same thing. Here are four quick ways to check.
1. Look for FTC-compliant labeling
True “Made in USA” labels meet strict FTC standards — all or virtually all of the product was made domestically.
2. “Assembled in USA” ≠ “Made in USA”
Assembly here with imported parts is a different — and lower — standard. Know the difference.
3. Check the company’s website directly
Authentic American-made brands will tell you where and how they manufacture. Look for a dedicated manufacturing page.
4. Use a trusted directory
