The Ella Vickers Recycled Sailcloth Collection is made in the USA from recycled/reclaimed yacht sails.
Each bag is water resistant and ocean durable, repelling salt air, rain, and the occasional wave crashing on deck. The virtually indestructible sailcloth carries the essence of its vessel into a new voyage wherever you take it.
Designer and founder Ella Vickers’ voyage to the creation of EVRSC began aboard the sailing yacht Columbia, the first 12-meter vessel to win the America’s Cup. As first mate, she was inspired by the incredible power in the multiple sets of sails that have taken the yacht to many victories. One off-season, when Columbia had her sails replaced, she recycled the old ones into bags, and the Ella Vickers Recycled Sailcloth Collection was born.
Ella’s years of racing all over the world and sewing yacht canvas taught her about the solid construction and marine-grade components needed to create a line of bags that are eye-catching and can stand up to the harsh wind, salt, and spray encountered every day in the boating and coastal lifestyle.
Every owner of an EVRSC bag can feel the grace and power of the amazing yachts that inspire each one-of-a-kind bag.
