The story
Evolution Gun Works — EGW — has been designing and manufacturing parts and accessories for popular rifle and pistol models since 1991, and puts its aim plainly on its own about page: better shooting with world-class parts.
The core of the catalogue is unglamorous and precise. A Remington 700 short action, a Savage round back, a Ruger 10/22, a Marlin lever gun and a Yugoslavian Mauser M48 each need a different Picatinny rail, correctly indexed — and where a shooter wants elevation for distance, cut with 20 MOA of built-in cant.
Alongside the mounts, EGW makes 1911 parts, pistol components, AR, rifle and shotgun parts and reloading tooling, and offers customizable pieces such as mainspring housings and safeties with laser-engraved patterns.
