The story
EQyss started in 1991 with a question at the dinner table: what is really in pet shampoo? In the company’s telling, it came from a lifelong horse owner who was shocked at how little regulation there was.
The family went to human haircare professionals for help and built products around human-grade ingredients, starting out “in the back office of our other family business.”
The range grew into two lines, equine and pet, covering shampoos, conditioners, detangling and shine sprays and grooming aids, sold direct and through groomers and dealers.
Why they matter
