Where Tuli’s products are made
Classic Heel Cups: “Latex Free · Lifetime Warranty · Made in the USA.” Heavy Duty GEL Heel Cups: made of TuliGel™, “Latex Free · Lifetime Warranty · Made in the USA.” The Classic multi-pack repeats it.
The X Brace and the Complete X Brace Kit both read “Made in the U.S.A.” The Cheetah Fitted sleeve lists “Made in the USA” in its contents line.
RoadRunners, DiamondBacks, Gaitors, So Soft and the Plantar Fasciitis insole carry no origin language. Neither do the Heavy Duty (non-gel) heel cups. The marking is inconsistent within a single line, so silence here proves nothing either way and no brand default is applied.
What this emblem covers. Six Tuli’s products state on their own pages that they are made in the USA. Sixteen do not, including the whole insole range and, oddly, the Heavy Duty heel cups while the Classic and the Heavy Duty GEL versions do. Medi-Dyne does not publish a factory location. American Manufacturing is therefore the accurate label, and any product-level claim needs the individual page.
The story
If you have ever been handed a pair of firm plastic cups for heel pain, there is a good chance they were Tuli’s. The company calls them “The #1 Podiatrist Recommended Tuli’s Heel Cups,” and the design argument is a straightforward piece of biomechanics: “Tuli’s multi-cell, multi-layer design absorbs shock and returns impact energy like the system naturally found in your feet.”
The brand sits inside Medi-Dyne Healthcare Products, Ltd, a Colleyville, Texas company with three other house brands — 2Toms for skin and odour, ProStretch for stretching, and Cho-Pat, whose braces were developed with Mayo Clinic sports medicine staff. Medi-Dyne says it holds more than sixty patented products and ships to over seventy countries.
The Heavy Duty GEL version uses a proprietary material the company calls TuliGel™, “which is lighter, softer, and more resilient than other gels.” The Classic and Heavy Duty heel cups and the Metatarsal Cushions carry a lifetime warranty.
Why they matter
The reason this profile is labelled American Manufacturing rather than Made in USA is worth stating plainly, because it is the kind of thing a company itself often has not noticed.
Medi-Dyne marks origin on some Tuli’s products and not others, and the split does not follow the product line. The Classic Heel Cups say Made in the USA. The Heavy Duty Heel Cups, sitting beside them in the same family, say nothing. The Classic GEL says nothing; the Heavy Duty GEL says Made in the USA. The Classic multi-pack says it; the Heavy Duty multi-pack does not.
An inconsistent marker cannot be read as evidence in either direction — absence of it does not mean imported, and presence of it on a sibling product does not license a claim. So the emblem here covers the six products that state it, the profile names them, and the rest are left honestly unclaimed. One email from Medi-Dyne naming the US-made SKUs would settle the whole thing.

Tuli’s questions
Are Tuli’s products made in the USA?
Some are, and the company marks them individually. The Classic Heel Cups, the Heavy Duty GEL Heel Cups, the Classic Heel Cups multi-pack, the Cheetah Fitted sleeve, the X Brace and the Complete X Brace Kit each state Made in the USA on their own product page. The insole line and several other items carry no origin statement — check the individual product.
