The story
The hard cooler had a strange couple of decades. Performance jumped in the early 2000s when rotomoulded, bear-resistant designs arrived, and then it essentially stopped — the category settled into a shape and stayed there while everything around it kept improving.
Maluna was born in 2016 out of that stagnation, with design changes aimed at the parts people actually complain about: the lid, the hinge, the way a cooler is carried and opened.
